Routine care is an important aspect of any athletic equine management program. In addition to your horse’s annual examination we can support your horse with preventative medicine and routine care such as:

• Vaccinations- we carry a few carefully selected vaccine brands to protect your horse against Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus Toxoid, West Nile Virus, Influenza, Rhinopheumonitis, and Streptococcosu Equi (Strangles). 

• Microchip Implantation in compliance with USEF.

• Dental Equilibration is offered on a haul-in only basis for existing clientele of Dr. Young. Annual routine dental care is an important part of managing athletic horses. Professional equine dentistry is performed by Kelsey Corkery under the direct supervision of Dr. Young. Power instrumentation is carefully used to balance dental malocclusions and address sharp enamel points caused by normal wear and tear of mastication. At this time, we do not offer tooth extractions or other advanced dental procedures. 

• Health Certificates- Certificates of Veterinary inspection (and EIA testing) for both domestic and international travel are available to existing clientele only.  Please plan ahead to avoid rush fees.
